About Me

Hi, I'm Tom Middler! I'm British, and I've lived in Austria since 2015. I've worked for state broadcaster ORF, covering sporting events in Austria and around the world for a few years now, and I founded the popular Austrian football podcast The Other Bundesliga as a way to get Austrians and others enthused about the beautiful game in this beautiful country!

My skills and experiences as a professional actor, radio presenter and sports reporter were all called upon when I began commentating on various events for the international sports broadcaster SportRadar. Since then I have been invited to two Olympic Games to voice over sports highlights packages and medal ceremony presentations for the Olympic Broadcasting Services.

I've commentated on countless football games at various levels off-tube and in-stadium, from Austria's third tier, to legends' exhibition matches to FC Barcelona live in front of thousands of fans, and I'm always excited to have the opportunity to get behind the mic for a match! I've also commentated on Tennis, and worked as a reporter in Motor Sports such as Formula 1 and Formula E.
